At The Paduka, we place strong emphasis on daily life skills training to prepare children for independent and meaningful living. Our structured program focuses on essential self-care activities such as personal hygiene, brushing, bathing routines, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating independently, and maintaining cleanliness. Students are also guided in practical everyday tasks like organizing their school materials, managing personal belongings, basic household chores, and understanding safety rules. We teach functional communication skills that help children express their needs, make simple choices, and interact appropriately in different social situations.
Special attention is given to time awareness, routine building, money handling basics, and community behavior such as visiting shops or using public spaces responsibly. These skills are taught through repetition, visual supports, modeling, and real-life practice to ensure long-term learning and confidence.
By developing daily living skills, we help children reduce dependency, increase self-esteem, and actively participate in family and community life. At The Paduka, life skill education is not just training — it is a pathway toward dignity, responsibility, and true independence.
